I have a neighbor that just gave to me a EMPI Sportster 2 seater. It needs a lot of work but everything is there. I'm not sure how to figure out what year it is the title he gave me says a 1962 it's only got 44,000 miles on it the odometer still works it clicked a 10th of a mile towing it over to my house. I also need to figure out what kinda engine it has any help would be great. I can't seem to find much info about them. Are they really rare or what. I don't know how easy this is going to be to restore with out more info and I need to dig in a little deeper to see how bad the rust has gotten to it. looks like they could be fun to cruise around in. If I can get it to run I'll get some pictures. Is finding a MANUAL just out of the question?
