The company that currently sells under the EMPI is actually Mr. Bug Inc. (www.mrbug.com) They are NOT, I repeat, NOT the same EMPI as the manufacturer of the original Imps.
I don't know if talking to them directly will help, as they will probably tell you to take it back to the place where you bought it. Neverthelss, you can reach Mr. Bug here:
