Well, things are still going on around here. The registry below has fallen to the side, as more pressing
matters reared their ugly head. That is a project that I will be working on as I get free time, but don't hold
your breath for anything in the near future. On a positive note, more and more people are seeing the 411/412
series as viable candidates for restoration. The number of message posted on the 411/412 forum at shoptalkforums.com has been steadily increasing. I'm hoping that more
of you will join us and help bring some exposure to the 411/412 series. |

There is something really exciting happening at the Shoptalk Forums' 411/412 Forum. We are in the midst of
organizing a Type 4 (and Type 3, maybe) car club, along with a 411/412 Registry. Of course I've
volunteered to handle the club's web site. So, if you are a Type 4 owner, or just a fan like
myself, stop in and join in the fun!

It's almost been two years since I last posted an update to this site. It's not that I dropped out
of the VW world, but just dealing with some personal and family issues, and concentrating on a few
new projects. I will be spending this summer working on getting some new stuff for this site. I
hope that you will stop in occasionally and check out my progress. If you currently own a 411 or
412, or you'd love to have one, feel free to stop in at the ShopTalk Forums, specifically at
the the 411/412 Forum and join the
rest of us. It's amazing what you can learn from fellow owners at this forum. Stay tuned for more
information here at Tom's Type 4 Corner

I've posted a few more pictures of Neal
Anderson's custom 412 in the Custom section. He recently had the
opportunity to try his 412 at drag racing. There's also a picture of it from
Bug Jam. Thanks Neal for the pics and keep them coming. :-) |

Well, it's been a little too long since I've made a posting
here. Well, to start with, I got an email today from Oldbug.com. They have
just completed their really custom '73 412 wagen. The
drivetrain is stock with an automatic transmission and a fuel injected 1700cc. Check it out and
tell
them that Tuna sent ya! ;-) |

I received an email today from Cliff Crate of Not So Vintage Parts. He
says he's got a line on a '69 411, but he can't keep it for himself.
He's looking for an interested individual looking for a very one-off
VW. The car has been stored in a junkyard, with another car on top of
it, so it has some roof damage. Otherwise Cliff says it's in good shape.
Contact Cliff for the details. |

The "For Sale" section has been eliminated.
The webmaster for type4.org has created a
classified section for buying/selling 411/412s and parts on his site. You'll
find the classifieds here. |

Tom's Type 4 Corner is proud to introduce a
new look for the website. Along with the more modern look, there is an
abundance of new information for the 411/412 enthusiasts. All of the pages are
not done at this moment, but I hope to have them done soon. Feel free to let
me know what you think of the new look. |
